The Winchester Thurston varsity boys cross country team regained the PIAA Class 1A title Saturday after falling to Camp Hill last year.
Tristan Forsythe was the first Winchester Thurston runner to cross the line on the Hershey 5K course. The junior grabbed second place with a time of 16:33. Senior Ben Littmann finished nine seconds behind Forsythe for third place.
Senior Shaun Hay took 10th place, crossing the line in 17:02. Junior Gordon Pollock and freshman Sean Heintzleman finished together in 17:35 for 23rd and 24th place, respectively.
Freshman Scott Routleddge finished in 63rd place, while sophomore Dan Sentner grabbed 80th place.
