Seton Hill junior forward Katie Gattuso was named co-West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball of the Week with Fairmont State's Kaitlin Snyder.
Gattuso, a Seton-LaSalle graduate, guided the Griffins to a 2-1 record with victories over West Liberty, which was leading the WVIAC heading into the game, and on the road at Bluefield State. She has now amassed seven consecutive double-double performances and 11 on the year.
In the one-point overtime loss at Fairmont State, Gattuso tallied a team-high 21 points while grabbing a game-best 10 rebounds in 44 minutes of action. She added three steals and a block.
Gattuso poured in a game-high 21 points and snagged 13 rebounds to go along with two steals and a block in a victory over West Liberty.
At Bluefield State, she garnered a 24-point, 17-rebound performance. Her 24 points tied a team high for the season.
