Background: Pfeffer, an experienced amateur player, is playing for Seneca Valley’s varsity team for the first time this season. Pfeffer is 7-3-1 with a 3.08 goals-against average and .915 save percentage. He notched his first shutout of the season Tuesday in a 1-0 win against Central Catholic. Coach Anthony Raco: “He’s really key for us. I told a reporter earlier this year, his preparation for games is the best I’ve even seen. He practices the way he wants to play in games. In practice, he wants to stop every puck and the other players pick up on that attitude.”
