Pine-Richland hockey team's student section shows spirit
Plenty of teams in the Penguins Cup semifinals have brought good student sections to the games.
State College’s fans even brought plenty of thundersticks to the party.
But Pine-Richland’s section definitely had the most flair.
First, a group of students stood in the section shirtless, each with a letter painted on their chest that spelled R-A-R-I-G, in honor of Rams’ defenseman Chad Rarig.
The group also had two fatheads and a Canadian flag showcased.
The section wasn’t stationary, either. They went from one side of the arena to the other after each period so they could get a better view of the Rams’ goals.
It will be interesting to see what they have in store for the championship game against Latrobe Wednesday at Consol Energy Center.
