Last season: Kristen Murslack won a pair of WPIAL gold medals and a pair of PIAA silver medals last season as a junior. Murslack set the WPIAL record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.68, breaking a 12-year old record in the process. She also won gold in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:03.75. At the PIAA championships she took silver in both events.

This season: As reigning WPIAL champion, Murslack knew she was not going to sneak up on anybody this season and now with her reported times, that is even more evident. Murslack has the fastest reported times in her top two events. In the 200 individual medley she has recorded a 2:07.51 and in the 100 breaststroke she has recorded a 1:06.35.
