Obama's Raven Haston made a big splash with her terrific performance at the Baldwin Invitational.
Haston continued her success at last week's City League championships.
Only a sophomore, Haston continued to show why she is one of the top sprinters in Western Pennsylvania after winning two gold medals at the championships, which were held at Oliver High School. Haston won titles in the 100- and 200-meter dashes.
Haston finished with times of 12.82 in the 100 and 25.73 in the 200. She won the 200 by nearly three seconds.
A week earlier, Haston won the 100 at the Baldwin Invitational after running a 12.34.
Next up for Haston is the PIAA Class 3A championships. She placed eighth in the 100 her freshman season.
