A handful of WPIAL baseball players have made verbal commitments to Seton Hill the last couple of weeks.
Count North Allegheny's Caiden Wood among them.
Wood, a senior shortstop, announced on Twitter on Wednesday that he plans to play at Seton Hill after finishing high school. Wood also pays for the Pittsburgh Spikes travel ball team.

Wood helped North Allegheny reached the WPIAL Class 6A final his junior season. He batted .240 with nine RBIs while often batting in the No. 8 spot in the lineup. He also saw some time as a pitcher, sporting a 2.74 ERA and notching two saves in six appearances.
Two other WPIAL players recently announced they would be attending Seton Hill: Shaler's Christian Seelhorst and Hempfield's Isaiah DiAndreth.
