The playoff-bound North Allegheny baseball team completed its regular season schedule with a 12-2 victory against Plum on May 4.

The No. 2-ranked Tigers (16-4, 7-3) are riding a four-game winning streak since losing to No. 1 Seneca Valley on April 25. North Allegheny has won 13 of its last 15 games and outscored opponents 94-25 during that stretch.

Against Plum, senior Jimmy Divosevic led the Tigers by going 2 for 4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Senior Zach Woloszyk went 2 for 4 with a pair of plated runs. Junior pitcher Tyler Saundry allowed just three hits in six innings to earn his third win of the season. In relief, senior Sean Fitzgerald struck out two and pitched a scoreless seventh inning.

Earlier in the week on May 3, senior first baseman Matt Waugaman led North Allegheny to a 10-4 win over North Hills. Waugaman went 4 for 4 with two doubles, a pair of runs scored and three RBIs against the Indians. Senior James Meeker pitched five innings and allowed four runs on six hits.
