Depth, experience, strong relays and versatility were all on display in the Mt. Lebanon girls swimming and diving team's 103-77 win over Canon-McMillan in a dual meet last Thursday. The Blue Devils swept all three relays on their way to the win over the Big Macs. Sophia Donati and Emma Graham each won each of their four events. Trinity Ward was on all three winning relays. Maddie Dorish came away with three first-place finishes, as well.

The Mt. Lebanon foursome opened the meet by joining forces on a first-place 200 medley relay. Donati, Ward, Graham and Dorish won the relay with a time of 1:55.27, edging Canon-McMillan by 1.01 seconds. While the big four were resting after their medley win, the Blue Devils still managed to come through with a top three sweep in the 200 freestyle. Marley Howell (2:09.19) led the way as her teammates Genevieve Chiapetta (2:15.36) and Caitlin Daley (2:19.90) finished 1-2-3.

Dorish won her first individual meet, the 50 freestyle, with a time of 25.54. Sydney Donati got in on the fun off the diving board with a score of 211.75, good for first place just ahead of teammate Kalliope Bicket, who was right behind her with a 208.80. Mt. Lebanon further flexed its muscles in distance freestyle events as Graham, Lauren Barnett and Chiapetta swept the top three spots in the 500 freestyle. Graham won with a time of 5:30.64. Sophia Donati and Devon Scott-Davis finished 1-2 in the 100 backstroke. Donati won the event by over three seconds with a time of 1:06.71.

Back on the relays, it was Dorish, Sophia Donati, Graham and Ward winning the 200 freestyle relay, and Baker, Graham, Sophia Donati and Ward clocking in with the fastest time in the 400 freestyle relay.
