Video: Lebo lacrosse stayed ahead of Seneca Valley, 8-5

Written by Cara De Carlo on .

This was a well-played game on both sides. Mt. Lebanon and Seneca Valley played a highly defensive first half; Tim McNichol got the Blue Devils on board and Tanner Pfeffer did the same for the Raiders. The score was 2-1 Seneca Valley at the half.

Mt. Lebanon tied the game early in the third. The Blue Devils also went on a run that quarter. They scored three goals inside of a minute of each other (Sammy White had two and Jack McMahon had one in that run). Brian Kelly added another at 1:31 to give Lebo a 6-2 lead at the end the quarter.

Seneca’s Derek Finney, Wendell Frank, and Pfeffer all scored in the fourth, but the Raiders could not catch Mt. Lebanon. During that quarter, McNichol and Kelly each added goals for Mt. Lebanon.
