Alumni Update - Rontez Miles (California University of Pennsylvania)

California University of Pennsylvania defensive back Rontez Miles repeated as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West Football Defensive Player of the Year and was also one of nine Vulcans who were first-team selections on the All-PSAC West Team.

Miles, a Woodland Hills High School graduate, became the first player to repeat as PSAC West Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons since 2002-03.

A four-time All-PSAC West selection, Miles set a career high and tied for the team lead with 75 tackles (43 solo) and also led the team with four interceptions. He also had three tackles for loss, two sacks, six passes defensed, two passes broken up, one quarterback hurry, one fumble recovery, one forced fumble and one blocked kick.
