Alumni Update - Brian Tougher (La Roche)

La Roche freshman third baseman Brian Tougher, a Woodland Hills High School graduate, was named the Newcomer of the Year in baseball in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.

Tougher enjoyed a fantastic freshman season as helped lead La Roche to its first-ever AMCC title. He finished the regular season as the team leader in runs (30), hits (58), doubles (10), RBI (38), and total bases (71).

Tougher also ranked in the AMCC's top 10 in batting average (.403), on base percentage (.464), hits, and RBI.

Tougher was a third-team selection on the All-AMCC team.
