DiMaggio lives up to his name for Western Beaver baseball team
When your last name is DiMaggio, it's only fitting that you should be able to hit.
Western Beaver junior Robert DiMaggio is living up to his surname in the early part of the season, including playing a major role in a 14-6 victory over Cornell in the Golden Beavers' Section 3-A opener on Monday. DiMaggio had two hits, scored three runs and drove in four as Western Beaver improved to 2-3.
Sophomore pitcher Nick Miller also had a big day at the plate. He had three RBIs and two runs scored.
