Alumni Update - Kelly Daniels (Pitt-Greensburg)
Pitt-Greensburg sophomore second baseman Kelly Daniels, a West Allegheny High School graduate, was a second-team selection on the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference All-Conference softball team.
Daniels earned a spot on the second team after a third team selection a year ago as a freshman.
Daniels broke the AMCC single season record for stolen bases in a season with 25 and after just two seasons is the Pitt-Greensburg career leader in stolen bases with 47.
This season Daniels hit .382 (42-110) including .556 in the Bobcats three playoff games. She scored a Pitt-Greensburg single season record 42 runs and added 13 doubles and 3 home runs.
She posted a .968 fielding percentage and committed just three errors for the entire season.
