West Allegheny hockey falls short, 2-1

Sam Werner recaps West Allegheny's hockey loss in the state championship:

"Council Rock South trailed three times in its Pennsylvania Cup Class AA state championship game against West Allegheny Sunday.

The Golden Hawks led just once, but it was when the final buzzer sounded, and they skated off with a 4-3 win and a state title.

"I'm speechless," Council Rock senior captain Caniel Ufberg said. "It's an unbelievable feeling."

Council Rock scored two unanswered third-period power-play goals to swing the game."
