Alumni Update - Jocelyn Floyd (Duquesne)

Duquesne senior guard Jocelyn Floyd was named the Atlnatic 10 Conferecne Women's Basketball Player of the Week by College Sports Madness, a member of the USA TODAY Sports Media Group.

Floyd, a Washington High School graduate, averaged 12.5 point per game and 8.5 steals per game in Duquesne's wins over North Dakota and Ohio last week,

Additionally, she shot 67 percent from the floor, hitting 12-of-18 shots.

Floyd tied career highs 19 points and nine steals against North Dakota and followed up with an eight-steal performance at Ohio.

Floyd is leading the NCAA with 35 steals and 7.0 steals per game.
