On April 3 South Side Beaver was sitting at 4-3 overall and 0-1 in section play.
After a 13-game winning streak and a berth in the WPIAL Class A quarterfinals, April 3 sure seems like a long time ago for the Rams who stretched their winning streak to 13 games with a 5-1 win over West Greene in the first round. Tori Conti’s two-run single in the fourth inning proved to be the difference.
