Alumni Update - Ashley Mikelonis (Washington & Jefferson)
Washington & Jefferson freshman guard Ashley Mikelonis scored a career-high 14 points for the Presidents’ women’s basketball team during a 83-70 loss to La Roche last Saturday.
In 20 minutes of action off the bench, the South Park High School graduate drained all three of her shots from the field and sank 7-of-9 free throws.
Mikelonis has seen action in all four of W&J’s games and is averaging 5.3 points. She ranks second on the team with a trio of three-pointers and is shooting 73 percent (8-of11) from the free-throw line. Mikelonis has also added three rebounds and three steals.
