Alumni Update - Eric Hackworth (Penn State Behrend)

Penn State Behrend junior defender Eric Hackworth was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year.

Hackworth, a Shaler High School graduate, was a first-team All-AMCC selection for the first time after helping Penn State Behrend post eight shutouts. Hackworth also netted four goals and tallied one assist for a career-high nine points.

The Lions earned a postseason tournament bid for the sixth straight year and will host La Roche today at 1:30 p.m. in the first round of the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference South Region Tournament.
