Shaler girls' golfer Stack sets course record
Shaler Area High's Mallorey Stack put her name into the record book in leading the Titans to a WPIAL Class AAA, Section 1 victory over Ambridge on Wednesday afternoon.
While the Titans rolled to a 199-245 victory over the Bridgers, Stack set a course record for a girls high school golfer with a round of 37 for nine holes.
Stack closed her round with birdies on the seventh and ninth holes. She parred the eighth hole.
Stack broke the previous record of 38 which was set last year.
