Video: Shady Side Academy lacrosse doesn’t give up, will play Mt. Lebanon today

These video clips show the Shady Side Academy boys’ lacrosse team in the WPIAL Division I championship versus Seneca Valley. The Indians' main strengths were their perseverance and their ability to wear the other team down.


Seneca Valley’s own perseverance and terrific goaltending allowed them to win the WPIAL championship, however.

The Indians will need their talents against a tough Mt. Lebanon team today in the state quarterfinals. Mt. Lebanon has a long-standing tradition on lacrosse excellence, and the Blue Devils beat Seneca Valley to arrive at today’s game.
