Seton-LaSalle softball team has perfect role model
Nicholas Tolomeo explains how the Seton-LaSalle softball team is affected by the past, perfect basketball season at Seton-LaSalle.
"The Seton-LaSalle High School softball team postponed its regular-season opener on March 23 so some of the players could travel to State College to watch the girls' basketball team play for a PIAA championship that same day.
The basketball team won the state title, capping a perfect 30-0 season.
Now the Rebels softball team is doing its best impersonation of its basketball counterparts.
The Rebels had an impressive 12-0 record overall and in Section 1-AA heading into a section game against Carlynton on Wednesday. They are scheduled to end the regular season today against Bishop Canevin.
The Seton-LaSalle softball team has matched the basketball team's start, now it hopes to write a similar ending."
