Seneca Valley softball team winning in different ways
Both wins were crucial but both road wins were also completely different.
Seneca Valley, trying to secure second place in Section 3-AAAA, had a pair of games on consecutive days at North Hills and Pine-Richland.
On Thursday the Raiders won a wild 13-12 shootout over North Hills. On Friday it played in a pitchers dual, finally outlasting Pine-Richland 3-1. Senior pitcher Emily Watson came through with a complete-game in the win over Pine-Richland in which she struck out four.
Seneca Valley has now clinched a playoff spot. It wraps up section play with games on April 30 against North Allegheny and May 3 at Butler.
