Alumni Update - Kari Falk (Edinboro)

Edinboro junior utility player Kari Falk, a Riverside High School graduate, was named to the All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference West softball team.

Falk made an impact both at the plate and at the pitcher’s circle.

As a hitter, Falk hit .308 with five home runs and 19 RBIs to go along with 20 runs scored, nine doubles and a triple. She recorded 10 multi-hit games during the year.

A starter in all 34 games, Falk finished with a .970 fielding percentage while playing center field and also made 16 appearances in the circle.

She completed the year with a 7-9 record with 11 complete games and a pair of shutouts. In 98.1 innings, Falk allowed 97 hits and walked 38 batters while striking out 46 batters.
