Joe Koch talks about the Riverside basketball program looking to meet new goals after the 2010-2011 season.

2011_1208_Rside_Weir"Riverside girls basketball coach John Wolf can tell you that the Panthers have won five of the past eight WPIAL Class AA, Section 2 championships, but he won't drone on about it.

Wolf's objective -- along with his team's -- is to reach the top of the section again, build on the 20-4 record the team achieved in the 2010-11 season and make more steps in the postseason.

"You won't hear me talk about last year's team," he said. "What I will [emphasize] is that we shouldn't overlook anyone. With the leadership we have, I feel more comfortable about this team."

Although not dwelling on the past, Wolf is grateful that three starters from that team are back for at least one more season."
