Alumni Update - Emily Schartner (Point Park)
Point Park senior guard Emily Schartner was named the Kentucky Intercollegiate Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Schartner, a Ringgold High School graduate, averaged 21.5 points and six rebounds last week as the Pioneers finished the week 2-0.
She recorded a double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds in a 74-69 win against Indiana University Southeast. She was also 5-of-10 from behind the 3-point line.
Schartner finished the week with 18 points in a 77-72 win against Brescia University.
