Alumni Update - Brittany Sadler (Bethany)

Written by Sports Town on .

Bethany senior goalkeeper Brittany Sadler finished an injury-marred senior season by starting all three of the Bison's women's soccer team's shutouts.

Sadler, a Ringgold High School graduate, played in just nine of the 17 games but was in net for the shutouts over Mount Aloysius, Westminster and Waynesburg. Though she missed eight games, Sadler was still able to make 73 saves, just four shy of her career-best 77 as a freshman.

As a freshman, Sadler was recognized by the Presidents' Athletic Conference as Goalkeeper of the Week once during the season. Sadler ends her career with a total of 260 saves and is in the program’s record book for most shutouts in a season with five and most career shutouts with 15.
