The Quigley hockey team has scored 55 goals in seven games. No team in the PIHL Open Class has scored with so much regularity.

Quigley, which as part of a cooperative agreement common in the Open Class gets its players from a variety of schools including Ambridge, South Side Beaver and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, is 6-1. It has scored at least six goals in all of its victories and had four in its only defeat, 11-4 to John Marshall Nov. 21.

Quigley has the Open Class leading individual scorer in Doug Simon (19 goals, 14 assists, 33 points) and has three of the top nine scorers. Nick Santiago (26 points) and Troy Emig (20 points) are the others.

Quigley's next game is 8:45 p.m. today against Beaver (3-4) at Beaver Ice Arena.
