No. 1 seeded hockey team makes use of its power
Chris Adamski recaps the PIHL Class A semifinal, Quaker Valley vs. Kittanning:.
"Jayson Lottes never expected it to look as easy as it did.
A senior Quaker Valley forward, Lottes was referring to the Quakers' dominating 7-1 victory against Kittanning in a PIHL Class A Penguins Cup semifinal Monday night at the Island Sports Center.
But he also could have been talking about the Quakers power play. Or his personal performance on it.
Lottes had three of Quaker Valley's four power play goals as the No. 1 seed Quakers (19-1-1) advanced to the Penguins Cup title game for the first time since 2008.
Championship games in all three classifications will be played Saturday at Consol Energy Center."
