Alumni Update - Anthony DiPisquale (Indiana University of Pennsylvania)

DiPasqualeAnthonyIndiana University of Pennsylvania center Anthony DiPasquale was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Champion Scholar for boasting the highest grade point average among the participating student-athletes at the PSAC Championship football game.

DiPasquale, a redshirt senior business major, holds a 3.74 grade point average through 120 credit hours. He is a graduate of Pine-Richland High School.

The PSAC Champion Scholar Award, begun during the 2011-12 academic year, is modeled after the NCAA's Elite 89 award and honors the student-athlete with the top grade point average that is competing at the site of each of the PSAC's 23 team championship finals. The selection criteria for the Champion Scholar Awards is identical to that of the NCAA Elite 89 awards, which honor the student-athlete with the top GPA at each of the championship final sites of the 89 NCAA championships across all three divisions - I, II and III.
