Healthy at last, Rams enjoying a strong season in lacrosse

"Before this season started -- just like the previous offseason -- second-year coach Tori Trombetta knew there was plenty of talent on her Pine-Richland High Schoool girls' lacrosse team.
Injuries derailed last year's campaign and the Rams ended up with a 3-12 record.
This year with a healthy group, that talent has been able to shine through on the field.
The Rams have already topped their season win total from the past two years combined. They went 6-11 in 2010 before the 3-12 year last season.
Pine-Richland was 12-2 overall, a perfect 11-0 in Division 1 Section 2 and ranked No. 2 in the WPIAL by laxpower.com before its game Wednesday against Mt. Lebanon.
The Rams are scheduled to complete their regular-season schedule tonight at North Allegheny."
