Peters Township softball controls its destiny
The last few softball games involving Peters Township have not been for the faint of heart.
The Indians are locked in a tight battle with Canon-McMillan and Baldwin for the Section 4-AAAA title and its most crucial week of the season it played in three consecutive section games decided by a total of four runs.
Peters Township edged Bethel Park 2-1, blanked Baldwin 2-0 and won at Upper St. Clair 1-0. Four of the team’s eight section games have been decided by one run this season.
No game will be bigger than the May 1 showdown between Peters Township and Canon-McMillan at Peters Township’s Elm Grove Field. It is the section finale for both teams.
