Alumni Update - Korey Freyermuth (Penn State Beaver)

Penn State Beaver junior pitcher Korey Freyermuth, a Perry Traditional Academy graduate, was named the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week in softball.

She pitched in Beaver’s only game last week, pitching a seven innings and recording the win. She allowed five hits and walked three while striking out 10.

Freyermuth led her team to a first place PSUAC finish in the regular season. Beaver will host the 2012 PSUAC Softball Championships and take on No. 4 seed Penn State Hazleton in its first game.
