Report: OLSH baseball’s Falascino signs with Slippery Rock

Coraopolis, PA – Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School senior Preston Falascino signed a letter of intent and accepted an athletic scholarship to Slippery Rock University. Falascino’s signing occurred on Wednesday, November 21, 2012.
Falascino is a three-year starter and letterman for the OLSH Chargers baseball team. He broke the school record for single season strikeouts last year with a total of 104. According to head coach Phil McCarren, Falascino was a key part of last year’s milestone season in OLSH baseball history. Falascino helped the team to win 18 games, and to advance to the PIAA quarterfinals.
