Wasson reaches another milestone with Oakland Catholic tennis team
Senior Megan Wasson won her 60th career match in an Eagles’ uniform this week in the team’s contest against Alderdice.
Wasson, the team’s No. 2 singles player, became the first player in school history to reach 50 wins last season.
Wasson also reached another school milestone last season, when she and teammate Nicole Cyterski became the first Oakland Catholic duo ever to win a section doubles title. The pair went on to finish fourth at the WPIAL doubles tournament last season, after finishing third in the WPIAL doubles tournament in 2010.
