Alumni Update - Tyler Urban (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Norwin High School and West Virginia University graduate Tyler Urban has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Urban was a tight end for his first three seasons in Morgantown before transitioning to inside receive in new coach Dana Holgorsen’s revamped offense. As a senior Urban caught 20 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns for the Mountaineers.

Urban, a former Post-Gazette Fabulous 22 selection, will join West Virginia teammates Najee Goode and Keith Tandy in Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers drafted Goode in the fifth round (140th overall) and Tandy in the sixth round (174th round).
