Northgate boys' basketball team begins season strong
It’s unknown how good Northgate will be this season after losing star Jon Girvin and two other double-digit scorers to graduation, but if the opening weekend of the season is of any indication, the Flames could among the best teams in Class AA Section 6.
The Flames (2-0) captured the Springdale tournament championship Saturday with a 62-57 win against Valley. A night earlier, the Flames knocked off host Springdale, 56-36.
Senior guard Dylan Muller made four 3-pointers against Springdale.
