North Hills boys lacrosse team closes against two solid opponents
North Hills High has been victorious in all 13 of the games it has played this season, and the Indians are ranked No. 6 in the Laxpower.com ratings for Western Pennsylvania girls' teams that include Division 1, Division 2 and Independent teams.
Following games this week against unranked opponents Hempfield (3-8) and McDowell, the Indians finish against No. 13 Hampton (8-3) and No. 9 Shaler Area (7-2). Both games are rematches. North Hills defeated Hampton 15-10 on April 16, and edged Shaler Area 16-14.
Both games are crucial for all three teams' playoff chances. North Hills currently leads Division 2, Section 2 with a 12-0 record. Hampton is 8-2 in the section, while Shaler Area is 6-2.
