At one point during last Thursday’s WPIAL Class AAA championship match, it looked as if North Allegheny would upset Shady Side Academy.

The Indians jumped out to a 2-0 lead with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, but the Tigers won the first set at No. 1 singles and both doubles matches.

If the Tigers could win all three matches, they would knock off the defending champions.
