Washington & Jefferson junior forward Chelsea Apke was a first-team selection on the All-President's Athletics Conference Women's Basketball Team.
Apke, a Mt. Lebanon graduate, is the first President to garner a first team selection since Maggie Gibson and Kennan Killeen both in 2009-10.
The Mt. Lebanon hockey team was in desperate need of win last Thursday against McDowell.
The Blue Devils (5-13-0) held just a one-point lead on Penn-Trafford for the final Class AAA playoff spot and had a golden opportunity to expand that lead against a winless McDowell team.
Mt. Lebanon’s lone all-star answered the bell.
