Mt. Lebanon lost to La Salle College High School in the state lacrosse playoffs. Story by Nicholas Tolomeo.

"For the second consecutive year Mt. Lebanon boys' lacrosse coach Mike Ermer was able to conclude his team's annual banquet with the words, "see you at practice tomorrow."

The banquet took place on Sunday night and once again the Blue Devils were the last WPIAL team standing in the PIAA playoffs.

"It is always nice when your banquet does not end your season," Ermer said. "It is certainly a tradition we want to keep up."

After a 12-5 regular season, Mt. Lebanon qualified for the WPIAL playoffs as the Division 1, Section 1 champion. It defeated No. 9 Franklin Regional, 11-5, before a surprising upset loss in the semifinals against No. 8 Shady Side Academy, 8-3."
