Handlovitch, Coleman leading Moon hockey team
Trevor Handlovitch and Jake Coleman both scored two goals to lead the Moon hockey team to a 7-0 win over Montour Monday night.
The two goals gave Handlovitch a team-high five goals this season. He also had two assists in the game to up his point total to 10, which tied him for third in PIHL Class AA after Monday night’s games.
Coleman, who missed the team’s first game of the season against Plum, now has three goals and three assists on the season.
J.T. Owen got his first shutout of the season by stopping all 17 shots he faced and lowered his goals-against average to 2.93 for the season.
Moon is now 2-1-1 overall and 2-0 against other Section 1-AA teams.
