A three-year starting pitcher for Montour, Kaitlyn Kutchman is in the midst of her strongest season. She has helped lead the Spartans to an 11-5 record and a Section 2-AAA title. Kutchman is a Seton Hill University recruit.
“Her maturity level has improved every year,” Montour coach Bill Wills said. “She doesn’t get rattled very easily. She pitches every inning for us and she can do a little bit of everything. She has a good fastball and she can hit her spots. She can go to a changeup or screwball too.”
Kutchman is also one of the strongest bats in the Montour lineup. She leads the team with three home runs. She bats third in the lineup.
