Leopards get 2nd basketball title shot

"CLARION, Pa. -- The Lincoln Park Leopards will make their second consecutive appearance in the PIAA Class A title game after beating Ridgway, 65-46, Tuesday night at Clarion University's Tippin Gymnasium in the semifinals.

Lincoln Park won its first WPIAL title nearly three weeks ago and will try to win its first PIAA title.

The Leopards will play District 12 champ Constitution Friday afternoon for the championship. Constitution beat MCS Charter, 62-37, Tuesday night. MCS beat Lincoln, 70-55, for the state title last year.

The Leopards (26-4) had everything working for them against the District 9 champion Elkers (29-2)."
