Alumni Update - Ryan Kissell (Carnegie Mellon)

KissellRyanCarnegie Mellon senior Ryan Kissell, a Greater Latrobe High School graduate, finished his track and field career with the highest academic and athletic honor one can garner as he was named to the Capital One Academic All-America Division III Men's Track and Cross Country Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Kissell was named to the Academic All-America Second Team after earning first team All-District honors for the first time. Kissell, a chemical engineering major, carries a 3.95 GPA.

He ended his career as a five-time All-University Athletic Association (UAA) athlete in track and field after placing second at the 2012 UAA Championships in the long jump and third in the triple jump.
