Mini-video: Latrobe's Green wins the WPIAL champs in the 400-meters
Latrobe's Hanna Green has been in a lot of newspaper articles,but now you can see her run:
This video features some of the best sprinters in the WPIAL. In the end, we do see Green cross the finish line (55.93 seconds), but this is not to leave out the tough runners she had to pass to get there. Among the athletes we see alongside Green are Butler's Jasmine Bailey, North Hills' Abby O'Connell, and Chartiers Valley's Dejalynn Peterson. Coming in in the four and five places, you can see Franklin Regional's Kaitlyn Ruffing (57.31) and Woodland Hills' Desiree Garland (57.59). Garland is well known for being a member of Woodland Hills' girls' basketball program. Garland, Ruffing, O'Connell and Bailey will all compete in the May 25-26 PIAA state meet at Shippensburg.
