This Kissell is starring for the Latrobe boys tennis team
There's yet another Kissell sibling playing at the top of the lineup for a Latrobe tennis team. Unlike the first three, however, this one is playing for a Wildcats' boys team.
Michela Kissell, Joelle Kissell and Stacia Kissell dominated WPIAL girls tennis for the better part of a decade. All have since graduated, but now, it's younger brother Chad Kissell who is making an impact for the Wildcats.
A freshman, Chad is Latrobe's first singles player, and he will represent the Wildcats in the Section 1-AAA singles tournament beginning today at Franklin Regional.
"He's the real deal," said Howard Fisher, who as the coach at Franklin Regional is one of Latrobe's biggest rivals.
Trevor Octavio plays second singles for Latrobe, with Mitch Wilt at third singles, Pat Trumbetta and Miko Reyes at first doubles and Doug Smeltzer and Nathan Apel at second doubles.
