New coach Taylor-made for Keystone Oaks football

Written by Brad Everett on .

Brad Everett's feature on Matt Taylor, who will be Keystone Oaks' head football coach starting next season:

"For Matt Taylor, an eight-season coaching stint at Burgettstown Area was a numbers game.

The Blue Devils football team competed in Class AA during many of those years, making the school one of the smallest in enrollment in that AA. In turn, participation was low, a number that hovered around two-dozen players many years. It helped to contribute to some rocky seasons.

Taylor now finds himself on the other end of the numbers spectrum. He was hired as Keystone Oaks' head football coach in late April. Taylor succeeds Nick Kamberis, who resigned for personal reasons."
