Ripepi keeping Thomas Jefferson hockey team in games
Nick Ripepi didn’t get the win in Thomas Jefferson’s game Monday against Quaker Valley.
But he did all he could do in the 5-0 loss.
Ripepi stopped 64 shots as Thomas Jefferson was outshot 69-17 in the game.
It was just the third loss for Ripepi this season in nine games. His six wins are two more than any other goaltender in PIHL Class A, and his 239 saves are third. He is also just one of four goaltenders in the division with a shutout.
Thomas Jefferson is leading Section 1-A with 12 points, six ahead of Serra Catholic (3-3-0).
