A physics major with a 3.64 GPA, Gorinski won both breaststroke events and the 200 individual medley while helping the Mids win four relay events and the overall team title at the 2012 Patriot League Championship. She became the first female swimmer in Navy and Patriot League history to compete in a trio of events at the NCAA Championship when she did so in the 200 IM and both breaststroke events at this year's national championship.

Gorinski will compete in the 100 and 200 breaststroke races at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
